Re: RTC convert TimStr and MiniSter and SecStr to Float format

Hi Monie, This line might be a problem. HOUR_FP = HOUR_FP + fdiv (MIN_FP,60) + fdiv (SEC_FP,3600) Try instead this, e.g. ".0" after integer constant numbers when used in Float calculations. HOUR_FP = HOUR_FP + fdiv (MIN_FP, 60.0) + fdiv (SEC_FP, 3600.0) Also these two lines. delta_FP = fad...

Hi Bep,

Thanks for letting us know of the issue.

I've found and fixed the problem for you now. The fix should now be available via the update system.

Let us know how you get on.

Re: RTC convert TimStr and MiniSter and SecStr to Float format

Hi Monie,

Are your loops in Main correct? You seem to loop to do the keypad and then loop forever after that. So I imagine you need to reset the program to get back to the keypad entry.

Re: PYD1798 Digital PIR Motion Sensor

Hello Sadik, We use this PIR sensor on the EBM012 board. https://www.rapidonline.com/nicera-re200b-p-pyroelectric-to-5-pir-sensor-61-1466 We use an op amp to process the signal and provide a digital signal the MCU can read using a standard digital input pin. The PYD1798 looks like it may have the si...

Re: GraphCreator in simulation not working

Hi Stefan,

Looking really good :D thanks for sharing.

I've been using the graph creator on the audio DSP solution and that's looking very nice too.

Glad you like it. You can always upload videos to YouTube and then attach them to the forums with a link or by embedding the video.

Re: Component for MCP4728

Hi Chad, The GainOP property setting is inverted on hardware. It's backwards. Fixed. The SetinitalEEOutput doesn't function. I've added a new parameter to allow you to specify if the DAC is enabled or not on power up my guess is it's currently working but disabled. The SetDeviceAddress doesn't funct...

Hi Lagoda, Ok that looks like the latest version. If you open a project and then click on Help -> Check for updates then this should show you any files used in your project with fixes or improvements. If you change the "Files in use" at the bottom of the window to "full database"...

Re: RTC convert TimStr and MiniSter and SecStr to Float format

Hi Monie, Sorry the extra optional parameter is used for FloatToString$ not StringToFloat$, sorry for the confusion. You maybe need to use an additional string variable, e.g. called TempStr and then load the string data bytes from the TimeStr into the TempStr. TempStr[0] = TimeStr[0] TempStr[1] = Ti...

Re: SCADA soundcard access and speech(realspeak)

Hi Stefan, Many microcontrollers have real time clock and calendar and there are many small chips with the function RTCC. If SCADA could read the time and date from the computer, with a RTCC component it would be simply, to set the time in a hardware with a SCADA program and a connection (uart, wifi,...

Hmm, Are you running 8.1 with the latest updates? Maybe it's an old bug that's been fixed

You can get 8.1 from here.

Re: Simulation: RX component with Human Interface Queue Not Working.

Hi Martin, from v7 to v8 we changed how CAL properties worked. Rather then duplicating properties and then copying values back and forth we use the new expose property mechanism to bring the low level property through to be exposed to the user. This helps to vastly cut down on complexity and bugs wh...

Hi Lagoda, Are you running 8.1 with the latest updates. I've looked at the code and just found this. #ifdef MX_PWM_NEW_TMR_CONF2 T2CLKCON = 1; //FOSC/4 #endif Looking at the 16F15344 device definition and the MX_PWM_NEW_TMR_CONF2 is being defined correctly? Re: RTC convert TimStr and MiniSter and SecStr to Float format

Hi Monie, Looks like you need to call the PrintString command instead of the PrintASCII command which will simply print out a single character. The StringToFloat$ function can be used to specify the number of decimal points, for example if you want 2 "0.00". HOUR_FP = StringToFloat$ (TimeS...

Re: Component for MCP4728

Hi Chad,

Do you have pull up resistors fitted to the SDA and SCL pins? The MCP472 likely won't provide them for you.

It should be possible to use the internal pull ups using a line of C code to avoid external components. What pins are you using and I'll have a stab at the code for you.

Hi Chad,

I've re-exported the component and hopefully the pin properties should behave better for you now.

Currently no HW I2C support on the ST ARMs though Leigh is looking into this. Software should work fine.

Looking at your program you are sampling the keypad but saving the result into the variable Key.

Maybe try this instead in the loop parameter.

Re: Component for MCP4728

Hi Chad, SCL and SDA should be the fixed hardware pins. These should be read only. SCL Pins and SDA Pins should only appear when you have remappable functionality onboard your target chip which lets you select the SCL and SDA pins. These should be selectable from a list of valid pins. Looks like the...

I take it you are updating the GetKey variable inside the loop. Looking at your program you are sampling the keypad but saving the result into the variable Key.

Maybe try this instead in the loop parameter.

Hi Lagoda,

Have you tried channels 1 and 3? Channels 1-2 are CCP based outputs. Channels 3-6 are PWM based outputs, hence 6 available PWM type outputs.
